It sure looks like a new Sonic the Hedgehog game reveal is coming soon
Sonic the Hedgehog fans may have motivation to tune into The Game Awards not long from now since it appears as though another Sonic game will be uncovered during the show. Sega has been dropping clues that another Sonic the Hedgehog game will be uncovered during The Game Awards, which have Geoff Keighley has been developing to be a major occasion even outside of the honor declarations.
While that would typically be enough for us, that is not where the clues and breaks end. As spotted by Reddit client JamKingVAC in a post to the GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit, the Sonic the Hedgehog establishment page on Steam has been refreshed to show that the series comprises of 35 games rather than 34. Obviously, there’s no new game to oblige that refreshed number, so it appears to be that Sega is setting up the Sonic establishment page early for another declaration.
What could this new Sonic game be?
Clearly, that area proposes that this new Sonic game could be called Sonic Frontiers. It’s been some time since the last new 3D Sonic game, which was 2017’s Sonic Forces assuming we aren’t counting the remaster of Sonic Colors that dispatched recently. The way that Sega has reserved the expression Sonic Frontiers loans somewhat more validity to this specific talk (by means of Video Game Chronicles).
